2026 Nehemiah Assembly

Join us to do justice and advocate for researched solutions to prevent gun violence in our local community

and to provide funding for affordable housing and for the Second Light Multi-Agency Center (to serve homeless persons) in Wichita!


The 2026 Nehemiah Assembly is Monday, April 27 from 6-8 pm at the Wichita State University,

Eugene Hughes Metropolitan Complex.


Justice Together has paper tickets that we will distribute to anyone who is attending when the

Nehemiah Assembly date gets closer. Contact the church office if you would like us to mail you a ticket; 

or pick one up at church the week before the Nehemiah Assembly!


If you want to carpool to the WSU Metroplex, meet at church at 5:00 pm. 

We will load up a few cars and leave the church parking lot promptly at 5:15 pm.


Prefer to drive on your own? 

We’ll have a CHUM sign inside the seating area of the Metroplex so that CHUMites can sit together! Come find us!

2026 Nehemiah assembly

The 2026 Nehemiah Assembly will unite over 1,500 people of faith from across Sedgwick County to call on local officials to enact community-driven solutions to gun violence, affordable housing, and homelessness.

 

Answering God's call to do justice, our congregations are rising together - mobilizing our fellow worshippers and neighbors, holding our leaders accountable, and building a powerful Great Assembly for Justice to transform our community.
