Missions are a vital part of the College Hill congregation. There are always places to volunteer and help however you can. Take a look below at a partial list of the ministries here at CHUM. FOOD PANTRY

The CHUM food pantry is open the first Tuesday of the month from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and the third Saturday of the month from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Participants can receive one sack of non-perishable groceries each month. Our congregation donates all of the supplies, volunteers and money to support this ministry each month.

BLESSING BOX

A Blessing Box is located near our children's playground. Single pre-packaged items can be donated to be placed inside the box for people who need something to eat right away. Crackers, protein bars, pop top canned items, water, individual cereals etc... are all good items for this outreach ministry.


BREAD BASKET/LOAVES and FISHES

The Bread Basket at 9:00 a.m. and the Loaves and Fishes at 10:15 a.m. are collected each service. 

Money given to either one goes to support missions here at College Hill.


COMMUNITY GARDEN

Every spring a variety of vegetables are planted in the CHUM Community garden. As vegetables grow, all neighbors are welcome to pick what they need for their dinner tables. If you would like to volunteer in the garden, please contact Patty Ruzich. email


GREETERS AND USHERS

If you are interested in helping greet or usher during a service, please contact Patty Ruzich. email


CHOIR OR 10:15 VOCALIST AND INSTRUMENTALIST

If you are a singer or instrumentalist and would be interested in being in the choir or joining the 10:15am worship team,

DROP-IN CENTER LUNCHES

Providing a nutritional lunch to over 100 homeless men and women in our community. If you, a group of your friends or your Sunday School would like to provide lunches, please contact Debbie Snell. email


POP TABS

Pop tabs are collected throughout the year. Pop tabs help support our local Ronald McDonald House. A collection container is in the church office.
